*why birdman*:birdman is one of mexico's fastest-growing consumer brands, redefining performance and wellness through *innovation, authenticity, and sustainability.* mexico is our *home and hq*—the birthplace of birdman and the center of our global brand vision.this is where we define the *brand that will scale worldwide.* the work done here will not only win in mexico but will *shape birdman's identity globally* in health & wellness.*role overview*:as *brand marketing manager - mexico*, you will take full ownership of *brand strategy, positioning, product innovation, category expansions, experiential marketing, pr, consumer insights, and brand building in mexico.* at the same time, you will play a key role in defining birdman's *global brand platform* that guides all markets.this is a *once-in-a-lifetime opportunity* to own birdman's brand in our home market while also influencing how the brand expands globally.- and p&l-oriented operator*.you've *defined brand platforms from hq* and translated them into *launches, experiential moments, partnerships, and collaborations* that move *awareness, penetration, and share.* you know how to spot and negotiate *co-branding opportunities* that amplify reach and cultural relevance, and you can inspire partners to deliver at birdman's level of ambition.deeply understand the *mexican consumer and retail landscape*, and turn *insights (nielsen/kantar/ipsos, digital analytics)* into growth.above all, you bring a *growth mindset* and the ambition to *shape a global wellness brand from mexico to the world.*key responsibilities*:- define and own *birdman's brand strategy and positioning globally,* starting from mexico.- lead *brand and category expansions in mexico,* ensuring launches are successful and scalable to other markets.- manage *brand p&l and budgets* in mexico.- partner with *product & innovation* to drive global pipeline development and launch strategies.- lead *experiential marketing, pr, and activations* to grow brand equity and engagement.- *identify, negotiate, and activate partnerships, collaborations, and co-branding opportunities* with retailers, influencers, and like-minded brands.- drive *social and digital brand alignment* in partnership with performance marketing and social teams.- leverage *consumer and market insights (cmi)* to refine positioning and spot new category opportunities.- act as the *global brand steward,* ensuring consistency across markets while enabling local relevance.- manage agencies and inspire cross-functional partners, with the opportunity to *build a high-performing brand team in mexico.*requirements*:*must-have requirements*:- *proven experience defining brand strategy* and positioning, ideally with global or regional influence.- *track record of delivering measurable, metrics-driven results* (brand equity growth, successful launches, roi).- hands-on *p&l and brand budget management.*:- *experience in product innovation and category expansion,* ideally in cpg, food/beverage, or wellness.- *strong leadership skills*: able to inspire teams, manage agencies, and collaborate cross-functionally at a global level.- *proficiency in analytics & insights* (nielsen, kantar, ipsos, brand tracking tools).- *native/fully fluent spanish* and *advanced english (c1-c2)* to operate globally.- *based in guadalajara, mexico (hq),* with flexibility to travel internationally.nice-to-have requirements- experience working in *global or regional hq roles* where brand strategy guided multiple markets.- background in *wellness, natural/organic, or food & beverage industries.*:- experience leading *global campaigns or brand platforms*.- exposure to *co-branding or strategic partnerships* with international retailers/brands.- *dtc/ecommerce marketing experience* in addition to brand management.*benefits*the company*: birdman is on a roll!We're a fast-growing plant-based food company, dedicated to making healthier, sustainable, and cruelty-free food choices a breeze.with our mouthwatering and nourishing plant-based products, we're winning over the hearts (and taste buds) of customers everywhere.get ready, because the global plant-based revolution is just getting started and it's going to be epic!We're on the lookout for the absolute best talent to help us fulfill our promise, expand our reach, and have a massive impact on the planet and people's lives.join us and let's create some plant-powered magic together!
