Product manager – automotive sector we are looking for a product manager to own and execute product strategy for the local automotive portfolio. This role is responsible for product planning, lifecycle management, market competitiveness, and cross‐functional coordination across marketing, sales, aftersales, engineering, and hq. The ideal candidate combines strong automotive product expertise with analytical rigor and hands‐on execution capabilities in a fast‐paced, competitive environment.position objective own and execute the end‐to‐end product management activities for assigned vehicle lines in mexico, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with customer and market needs. This role manages product planning, pricing inputs, lifecycle execution, and new model introductions, acting as a key interface between local teams and global headquarters.what you'll do manage the end‐to‐end product lifecycle for assigned vehicle lines in mexico. Develop and maintain market‐driven product plans aligned with hq strategy and local commercial needs. Coordinate new model launches, facelifts, and lifecycle updates. Support pricing strategy, product mix definition, and profitability analysis. Define and execute product positioning, features, and value propositions. Work cross‐functionally with marketing, sales, aftersales, supply chain, engineering, and hq teams. Track product performance, market trends, and competitive benchmarks. Prepare product business cases, forecasts, and performance reports to support decision‐making.qualifications & requirementseducation bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, industrial engineering, or related fields. Experience ~5–8+ years of experience in automotive product roles (oem, tier‐1, or automotive distribution). ~ hands‐on experience in product management, product planning, plm, or vehicle launches. ~ exposure to working with global or hq product teams.technical knowledge solid understanding of the mexican automotive market, pricing structures, and competitive dynamics. Experience with product lifecycle management tools (plm platforms such as teamcenter). Strong analytical skills, including forecasting, financial analysis, and pricing support. Experience or exposure to ev products is a plus. Advanced english required.skills & competencies strong execution mindset with ownership of deliverables. Analytical and data‐driven decision‐making. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High adaptability, accountability, and collaborative working style.
