Responsibilities
- Support customers by providing recommendations, processing purchase orders (POs), and answering basic product questions.
- Collaborate with the team; participate in training to build technical knowledge; assist with administrative tasks.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude; respond promptly within SLA; utilize up-selling and cross-selling to promote Progressive Automations products.
- Respond to customer inquiries with general product information from website/docs; recommend appropriate electric linear actuators and/or control systems based on requirements.
- Process POs; support administrative tasks; direct customers to appropriate resources for complex technical questions.
- Collaborate with colleagues, work independently or in a team; document and communicate website, datasheet and product issues to B2C Manager with strong attention to detail.
- Participate in training to enhance product understanding; pursue ongoing learning and professional development.
Required Skills and Experience
- Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in technical product engineering, customer support, client services, sales or related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical components; experience with linear motion, actuators, control systems or DC motors is a plus.
- Ability to de-escalate customer stress; strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
- Exceptional English communication skills (written and oral).
- Experience with CRMs and sales enablement platforms (e.g., HubSpot); familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Availability to work during Pacific Time Zone business hours (40 hours/week).
