Training development leadensure the successful development and implementation of a standardized training program across various manufacturing sites.oversight includes establishing a robust training center model, developing technical certification pathways, and building frontline training capabilities.key responsibilities encompass:developing and deploying a standardized on-the-job training program across production, maintenance, and other idl roles.creating training processes that support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling across lines and shifts.collaborating with site leadership, engineering, and hr to ensure training materials reflect current processes and safety requirements.certification & competency models:designing, implementing, and monitoring certification pathways aligned to operational complexity and regulatory compliance.ensuring training matrices are updated, aligned to site needs, and integrated with career path frameworks.managing systems for tracking training completion, expiration, and re-certification needs.trainer coaching & development:building and coaching a network of frontline trainers capable of delivering consistent technical instruction using adult learning principles and standardized work methods.evaluating trainer effectiveness and providing continuous feedback and development.leading 'train-the-trainer' programs and supporting internal instructor certification.content development & digitalization:overseeing creation and continuous improvement of sop-based, video, and interactive training content.partnering with internal comms and digital learning teams to scale training content via lms and mobile platforms.supporting implementation of tablets and mobile stations to deliver real-time, shop-floor training.cross-functional leadership:serving as the key liaison between hr, engineering, ehs, qa, and operations to align training with broader goals.participating in external audits and internal process improvement initiatives.partnering with external vendors to co-develop high-impact programs.
