Overview

role overview: as campaign management & ad operations manager within the subscriber acquisition organization, you will be a key operational leader supporting paid media efforts across global efforts for hbo max, with an operational focus on latam. You’ll work closely with regional strategy and paid media investment teams to ensure campaigns are flawlessly executed, billed, and reported. Based in-region, you’ll serve as a go-to resource for both the media ops & logistics specialist and larger subscriber acquisition team as the mexico city hub grows. You have experience with ad operations (using google campaign manager 360), knowledge of naming convention taxonomy and paid media billing, and you’re a highly organized, proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset and a deep understanding of the paid media landscape.


responsibilities

* campaign execution & trafficking: partner with strategy and buying teams to ensure flawless trafficking of global paid media campaigns, with a focus on latam markets. Manage traffic sheets and automation tools to streamline operations along with our trafficking agency team.
* billing & financial operations: collaborate on the paid media billing process, working closely with the team specialist, including po creation, invoice reconciliation, and coordination with finance and partner teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
* performance reporting & insights: deliver campaign performance reports using tools like looker and datorama. Provide actionable insights to optimize acquisition efforts and inform strategic decisions.
* stakeholder collaboration: build strong relationships with regional marketing teams to align paid acquisition efforts with broader promotional strategies and business goals.
* capability center leadership: act as a local leader for the broader subscriber acquisition team in this region. While directly managing one shared report, you’ll also serve as a trusted resource for other team members based in this location, offering guidance, support, and operational leadership as the team continues to grow.
* relationship building & influence: be a self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of seeking out and building the necessary relationships across the organization to drive success and collaboration.
* communication & presentation: demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.


qualifications & experience

* 5+ years of experience in media operations, campaign management, or digital advertising, including ad ops trafficking.
* hands-on experience with billing platforms such as ariba, sap, or peoplesoft.
* proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and prioritize investment based on commercial context.
* strong understanding of paid media channels and campaign execution in direct-to-consumer environments.
* familiarity with tools such as monday.com, campaign manager 360, claravine, and microsoft office suite.
* excellent relationship management and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
* self-starter with a proactive mindset and a passion for operational excellence.
