Hardware + software | on-site | bilingual (english/spanish)
growth path to vp of product
about the opportunity
we are developing a breakthrough technology product that combines hardware and software in a new category.
this is not an incremental improvement.
this is a ground-up build requiring experimentation, fast learning cycles, and disciplined execution.
we are looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful — and grow with it.
the role
you will lead the development of a new technology product from concept to scalable manufacturing.
the founder defines long-term vision and strategic direction.
you architect the path to execution.
this is not a coordination-only role.
you lead by building, structuring, deciding, and driving results.
you will:
translate high-level vision into product architecture and execution plans
lead a small cross-functional team (hardware + software)
design and drive experimentation cycles
make product decisions under uncertainty
coordinate suppliers and manufacturing partners
own timelines, milestones, and delivery discipline
create clarity and momentum in ambiguous environments
establish processes that can scale as the product and team grow
growth opportunity
this role is designed to evolve.
as the product line expands and new products emerge, this position can grow into a broader product leadership role (vp-level).
we are hiring for long-term impact — not short-term management.
what we're looking for
8+ years leading development of physical technology products
experience bringing products from prototype to manufacturing
strong exposure to manufacturing and supplier coordination
proven ability to operate in early-stage or innovation-driven environments
strong decision-making skills under ambiguity
high ownership mentality
comfortable working directly with a founder
bilingual english/spanish
on-site availability
who you are
a builder with leadership instinct
strategic, but execution-focused
structured, but not bureaucratic
comfortable failing fast and learning faster
motivated by building something that defines a category
if you're looking to manage a roadmap, this isn't it.
if you want to build something significant — and grow with it — let's talk.
