Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager
As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, replenishment signals, and delivery processes to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for parts-related outages within your designated Business Unit.
- Coordinate orders from offsite storage locations tailored to your Business Unit's specific needs.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels within established min/max parameters to optimize stock levels.
- Count, tag, and catalog obsolete items for consolidation and disposition.
- Promote Operational Inventory Accuracy (OIA) across your assigned Business Unit.
- Ensure compliance with CTPAT certification standards.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve inventory control within your assigned Business Unit through data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with ME and Planner to implement ECNs, managing serial breaks, bin setup, disposal, packaging, delivery methods, and process improvements.
PFEP Management:
- Update and maintain PFEP documentation for designated Business Units.
- Develop a scorecard for your area of responsibility, tracking metrics such as line outages, Inventory Days on Hand, unkitted items, and excessive inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Experience in material supply chain and operations with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of Inventory Control, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Finance principles.
- Green belt certification preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2-5 years with a focus on supply chain management.
- Language fluency: Spanish and English.
- Travel requirement: Less than 10%.
