about the team
the sap mexico next gen – commercial business partner supports the commercial finance team. You'll work with deal support activities within commercial finance (e.g., managing sales interaction structures, proposing and reviewing commercial offers) and perform all core activities required by sap's internal global policies. The commercial finance team spans regions worldwide, offering an exciting international environment.
what you'll do

activities and responsibilities
* review and structure contracts such as software, maintenance, and cloud agreements for the mid market segment.
* handle deals that include multiple contracts and significant changes to t&cs.
* participate in the general administration of the finance function.
* perform controls and procedures to review on‐premise and cloud license agreements to ensure proper accounting.
* assist with deal structuring and approve quotes.
* handle deal support escalations.
* business administration and project contributions.
* interact with bdo during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
* confident problem solving, managing multiple deadlines under pressure, and developing deep knowledge of pricing, deal structure, and business revenue.
* contract drafting and related documentation.
* interact with the f&a community, css, and gco sales to achieve desired results.
who you are
we're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful, innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
* education requirement: recently graduated from an academic/university program (less than 2 years from graduation).
* ideal majors/concentration: business, accounting, finance, or related majors.
* language requirement: english (verbal & written, ideally b2 & above) and spanish (fluent).
* project management skills.
* communication skills (english & spanish).
* time management and collaboration.
* finance knowledge.
* microsoft suite: excel, word, powerpoint.
