job purpose:
in this position you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation of warehouse management systems across various facilities.
this role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
key responsibilities:
- *project planning*: develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates for wms implementations.
- *stakeholder management*: liaise with stakeholders, including warehouse staff, it teams, and vendors, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals.
- *execution and monitoring*: oversee the execution of implementation projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- *risk management*: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the implementation process.
- *training and support*: coordinate training sessions for warehouse staff on the new implementations and provide ongoing support during and after the implementation phase.
- *documentation*: maintain thorough documentation of project progress, decisions made, and lessons learned for future reference.
- *performance metrics*: establish and track key performance indicators (kpis) to measure the success of the implementations.
who we are looking for:
- proven experience in project management, in similar systems implementations.
experience in logistics or supply chain environments is preferred.
- advanced english.
- experience and availability to work with regional teams in different time zones.
- experience working with multiple projects at one time.
- strong leadership and team management skills.
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- proficiency in project management software and wms technologies.
- analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- certifications (optional but preferred): project management professional (pmp)/ certified supply chain professional (cscp)
