Position objective
leadership and administration of a group of engineers and technicians, serving as a primary guide to them in order to achieve departmental goals and objectives through a performance assessment and supporting them on their professional development.
lead responsibilities
* management of a team of professional and technical employees participating actively in their personal development plan.
* create and manage the budget and forecast.
* create a master plan of the projects and activities aligned with engineering and cfc bsc key process indicators.
* create daily and weekly internal governance to follow up on master plan deviations and always assess risks along with ie manager and key stakeholders.
* demonstrate strong and situational leadership to identify and influence the pulse, moral and workload balance on its team.
* create pertinent iso procedures corresponding to its field and deploy them until they are absorbed and well followed by all involved players.
* be the guardian and vigilant of all financial and hr internal policies to be perfectly followed and executed as well as escalated any bad deviation until resolved.
* ensure that the operating cost is aligned with the planned opex.
* directly responsible for the implementation of new part projects and transfers.
* responsible for the creation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality.
* responsible for the maintenance, control, and purchase of tooling and tools.
* responsible for defining supplies and consumables for parts manufacturing.
* ensure a functional organizational structure according to requirements.
* responsible for defining roles and responsibilities for both functions: engineers and technicians.
* responsible for defining and executing training plans for manufacturing engineers and technicians.
* responsible for following up action plan for downtime related to manufacturing.

* ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topics.
* enforce quality brp policy.
* follow up office vibe results through an action plan.
skills
* manufacturing processes: turning broaching, grinding, heat treatment, polishing, honing.
* project management
* gd&t, technical drawing interpretation hydraulic, pneumatic,and mechanical tolerances
* ingles, problem solving
* design of cutting and workholding tools
* leadership skills
* knowledge of measuring equipment and methods, statistical data analysis.

education
bachelor: any engineering degree
experience
5 years in: manufacturing process
language
* fluent in spanish written and verbal.
* english advanced (min. 80%) written specially
* french or german is an advantage.
