job responsibilities
1. standardize and establish planned preventive, predictive, and corrective activities for equipment to ensure proper functioning.
2. maintain the tooling and peripheral equipment for transfer dies in optimal condition to meet production schedules and organizational goals.
3. ensure the operation conditions of the production equipment are met, demonstrating efficiency.
experience and academic background
educational background: technical career or engineering degree.
minimum of 5 years experience in the automotive industry in a similar position.
technical knowledge
* programming transfer system curves and process advancement of bands, gantry, etc.
* repair, implementation, and design of transfer arms.
* repair and standardization of peripheral press equipment.
* preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance management.
* intermediate mechanics, interpretation of mechanical drawings of dies.
* intermediate to advanced electricity. Interpretation of electrical diagrams.
* digital and analog electronics. Card repair.
* basic die, die protection.
* intermediate pneumatics.
* basic hydraulics.
* design, implementation of arms in simulator, assembly, programming of curves, and commissioning of transfer dies.
* maintenance software.
* electric and mig manual welding, piping, workshop tools and machinery.
* knowledge of mechanical presses.
* experience with sensors and safety application integration for press equipment.
* fanuc-nachi handling tool robot (intermediate preferred).
* daily report delivery.
* design of mechanical devices.
