the gcp delivery/project manager candidate must have:
key responsibilities:
·program & project leadership:
o lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple gcp projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
o develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
o oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
o implement robust project management methodologies (e.g., agile, scrum, waterfall) tailored to project needs.
·gcp solution delivery:
o possess a strong understanding of core gcp services (compute engine, gke, cloud storage, bigquery, dataflow, cloud sql, vertex ai, networking, security, iam, etc.) and their application in enterprise solutions.
o guide technical teams in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective gcp architectures.
o ensure technical solutions align with client business objectives and gcp best practices.
o drive digital transformation and cloud migration initiatives on gcp.
·stakeholder management & communication:
o act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communicating progress, risks, and issues effectively.
o build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, vendors, and google cloud representatives.
o conduct regular project reviews and status meetings with stakeholders.
o prepare and present project reports, presentations, and demonstrations to various audiences.
experience:
8+ years of progressive experience in it, with a significant portion (5+ years) in a project management, program management, or delivery management role.
·demonstrable experience managing complex cloud-based projects, specifically with google cloud platform (gcp).
·proven track record of successful end-to-end it service delivery and p&l management in previous roles.
·experience working with large enterprises and managing multi-location or global delivery teams.
technical skills:
·solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems.
·familiarity with devops, ci/cd pipelines, and infrastructure as code (iac) principles on gcp.
·knowledge of networking, security, and data management best practices in a cloud environment.
