About the role
tactical procurement is the operational engine of the purchasing function. This role is not about defining strategy—it’s about executing with precision, speed, and consistency to ensure business continuity. Focused on indirect global procurement, this position plays a key role in managing day‑to‑day purchasing activities across regions and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
active follow‑up and management of pos (purchase orders)
efficient pr to po conversion, ensuring accuracy and cycle time compliance
supplier performance tracking (delivery, pricing, slas)
resolution of operational issues (invoicing discrepancies, delays, pricing mismatches)
continuous coordination with global stakeholders
execution of “3 bids” process (minimum three supplier quotes) to ensure competitiveness and compliance
additional skills required:
advanced use of power bi for kpi tracking, reporting, and data‑driven decision making
english level c1/c2 (assessed) for effective communication with global teams and suppliers
background in global companies is a must
work model: hybrid (no remote option); candidates must be based in mexico city (cdmx)
qualifications:
4+ years of experience in indirect procurement with a strong focus on execution and operational excellence
proven track record in managing procurement operations at a global level

amazon mexico’s supply chain team is looking for an entry‑level supply chain specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be part of revolutionizing how we deliver millions of packages to customers across mexico, focusing on reliability, speed, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
analyze and optimize transportation routes using data‑driven approaches
monitor key performance metrics for the transportation network
collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements
participate in cost optimization projects
track service quality indicators
support daily transportation operations
assist in implementing new processes and tools

basic qualifications:
