- main functions:
- negotiate or renew supplier agreements (lon´s & lta´s) to purchase critical materials, parts components, tooling for dvcm bus mexico production on assigned commodity.
negotiate the most effective long term programs for dvcm bus mexico - including supplier commitments for production pricing that will differentiate dvcm bus mexico in the marketplace.
- negotiate long term agreements with suppliers.
negotiate for exclusive products for dvcm bus mexico
- manage supplier relationship, including long term strategic partners.
work with suppliers to archive dvcm bus mexico cost goals
- represent the purchasing team on projects assigned.
participate in the development of long terms and global commodity strategies for production.
evaluate alternatives materials, methods, and technologies and alternative suppliers as necessary.
perform va/ve workshops with selected supplier by management team request.
- create and implement comet measures to report efficiencies or risks initiatives to ensure anp, support and monitor results reporting through global business systems.
- create and ensure that all dvcm bus mexico procurement contractors are in place for all new dvcm projects with current / new suppliers: nda (unilateral -mutual), loi, sd (if apply), lon, lta
