The responsibilities
- schedules and performs periodic maintenance, installation, repair and modification of equipment within assigned areas of responsibility. Is responsible to maintain all equipment and systems to attain designated product performance metrics.
- maintains all records in accordance with regulatory requirements. This includes following the defined complaint handling procedures relative to complaint identification, documentation, resolution, and escalation.
- responsible for maintaining and managing all assigned company assets that may include but are not limited to: tools, parts inventory, company vehicle, computer & accessories.
- conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives as needed.
- supports sales partners efforts to attain business objectives.
- determine technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solution.
- conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications and implementations.
- manage all territory responsibilities including preventive maintenance & upgrades including software & hardware.
- perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The individual
- professional degree: bs degree in electrical engineering / electronic / mechatronic, biomedical, or related field.
- minimum of three (3) years experience as a field service engineer.
- english proficiency.
- travel 50%
the work environment
- this position requires the individual to provide service support in the hospital/clinical laboratory environment.
