responsibilities
* supervise activities of property security personnel.
* implement and ensure response actions are followed.
* coordinate functions and activities of emergency brigades.
* support the coordination of safety programs to enhance the safety culture on site.
* ensure compliance with action plans from incidents, audits, unsafe conditions, walkthroughs, inspections, etc.
* develop and review job risk analyses to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
* manage external risk work permits for contractors and internal personnel.
* oversee the use of personal protective equipment.
* participate in implementing the loto program and special work permits.
* coordinate investigations of accidents and incidents to develop preventive and corrective actions.
* guide employees in detecting unsafe acts and conditions.
* provide training on esh matters.
* continuously promote actions to improve the plant's safety, health, and environment culture.
your profile
* bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering, or similar.
* at least 2 years of experience as a safety engineer in the automotive industry.
* knowledge of esh regulations and local legal safety, health, and environmental requirements.
* internal auditor certification in iso14001, iso45001:2018.
* proficiency in english (advanced level).
