The accounting analyst provides support to the senior accountant to ensure that the accounting balances and information of bdmx operations in ixtacuixtla and tijuana are accurate and reliable. She/he ensures that all journal entries are posted correctly and reconciles balances between ledgers. She/he assists with month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion. The accounting analyst is responsible for posting customer payments and clearing them against invoices for bdus. She/he works closely with the senior accountant to observe us gaap, local gaap principles, and head quarters requirements.
the accountant analyst is responsible for posting journal entries for the ixtacuixtla and tijuana sites, including but not limited to payroll, accruals, and benefits. She/he ensures each manual journal entry has supporting documentation and approval, and that entries are posted using the correct sap transaction, movement type, cost center, and general ledger account.
additional responsibilities include executing balance sheet account reconciliations, including clearing and accruals release; preparing payroll reconciliation; validating fx revaluation; maintaining up-to-date fixed assets electronic backup; consolidating supporting documentation after capitalization processes; and archiving supporting documentation in sap.
she/he posts customer payments in sap and clears them against invoices for the us site. Supports external audits, transfer pricing, and other external requirements, as well as the annual physical inventory process. Also supports the fixed assets physical inventory kickoff and related processes.

2–5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in a production-oriented environment.
bachelor’s degree in public accounting or a related field.
basic understanding of accounting principles (ifrs and nif).
experience with erp systems, preferably sap.
intermediate to advanced english proficiency.
proficiency in microsoft office.
