you will oversee the inflow and outflow of merchandise, including finished products, raw materials, and goods, ensuring efficient and accurate tracking through our sap system. Your key responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels to meet production demands and ensuring timely deliveries. responsibilities
* supervise warehouse staff and direct training to ensure personnel are always available to perform various departmental functions.
* monitor the performance of staff and make recommendations for promotion, transfer, warning, or termination.
* assist in the preparation and updating of warehouse budgets, policies, procedures, and training programs.
* support management in overseeing personnel to achieve effectiveness in inventories, reporting, and locations.
* report the arrival of materials from other plants and suppliers.
* supervise the generation of requisitions for ordering items for the tool crib.
* order and maintain a minimum balance of packaging materials used in all areas.
* keep department equipment and operational tools in optimal condition.
* ensure the solvent room remains safe and in good condition.
* control non-conforming materials located in the warehouse.
* maintain optimal levels of order, cleanliness, and safety within the department.
* conduct cyclical inventories with the inventory analysis.
* work with the production team to analyze root causes of production issues and implement appropriate corrective and, if applicable, preventive actions.
qualifications
* degree in industrial engineering, administration, or a related field
* over 3 years of relevant experience managing warehouse personnel
* 70% proficiency in english
* experience with sap
* skilled in forklift operation
* effective team management capabilities
