Overviewthis key, high potential growth position is responsible for maintaining manufacturability and existing design support of released products and assisting with transition of products from r&d to manufacturing.responsibilitiesdrive continues improvement projects aligned to opeximplementing and sustaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting equipment and systems.process optimization, identify and implement process efficiency improvements and cost saving initiatives with focus on manufacturing processes.design changes to existing products as required due to obsolescence, performance, performance, or cost reduction.technical problem-solving, troubleshooting/repair manufacturing equipment and electronics to the board level.develop test methods and procedures to verify product compliance to published specifications for new and released products.act as liaison between r&d and manufacturing for efficient product release to manufacturing.actively involved with new designs to implement design for manufacturing techniques aimed at lowering final product costs.assist in the development (design and machine) of new and existing fixtures. Create, debug, and enhance test software using national instruments labview.construct and maintain digitalized manufacturing processes and databases.qualificationsbs degree in engineering or two-year technical degree with at least three years of manufacturing experience in an electronic manufacturing environment (electrical or computer engineering field preferred).experience in designing and building automated test equipment.working knowledge of digital and analog circuitry (design, test, troubleshooting).test equipment used: oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, environmental chamber, load dump tester, etc.experience in using methodologies in support of manufacturing process improvement efforts.bs degree in engineering or a technical field (me, ie, or ee preferred).experience using automated test equipment. Design and development of tools, jigs and fixtures for production operations. Need to be able to modify and write automation programs.preferred skills/experiencesexperience in electronics manufacturing, preferably in process control or test and measurement instrumentation.design and program pcb bed of nails test fixtures.able to modify and write automation programs.utilized programming languages: basic, c, java and othersni labview development experience.working knowledge of software and design platforms including but not limited to: cadstar, pads and autocad and/or solidworks.
