Role overviewthe dispatch coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational dispatch of transport services within the host city during the fifa world cup. Reporting directly to the host city transport manager, the role ensures efficient vehicle allocation, driver coordination, and real-time monitoring to support fifa client groups.the dispatch coordinator acts as the central control point between transport providers, drivers, and the host city transport manager.key responsibilities- coordinate and dispatch vehicles in accordance with the tmm schedule and with local vendor staff - monitor live vehicle movements and respond proactively to delays or route disruptions - ensure on-time service delivery for match days, training venues, and airport transfers when applicable - escalate incidents or service risks to the host city transport manager - implement contingency plans related to traffic, weather, or security constraints - assist in driver and staff training prior to the world cup - record incidents, delays, and service adjustments - prepare relevant reports and kpis - ensure compliance with fifa transport standards and local regulatory requirementsrequirements- minimum 3 years of experience in sports events, transport, or large-scale logistics - experience in live operations or dispatch coordination - strong ability to manage high-pressure, real-time environments - excellent communication and problem-solving skills - highly organized with strong attention to detail - familiarity with guadalajara traffic and logistics preferred. - experience working with vip clients or international events is a strong plus - bilingual requirement (english/ spanish)about accord – driving the gameaccord provides transport management for high-profile international sporting events, including the fifa world cup and olympic games.
