key account manager - meat and poultry segment
job objective:
responsible for managing strategic accounts, driving sales growth, and expanding market share in this category.
this position is key to ensuring the maintenance and business growth in critical accounts, with a special emphasis on increasing and accelerating the development of our solutions portfolio and building strong relationships of trust with clients.
requirements:
* academic background: engineering, chemistry, business administration, marketing.
* language: advanced english (spoken and written)
* desirable knowledge: ingredients and flavors market. Basic knowledge in support areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, quality control, marketing, and research and development.
* experience: minimum 6 years in sales (preferably in similar segments).
* willingness to travel within the country
key responsibilities
* develop business plans and lead the development, coordination, and implementation of commercial strategies for direct clients.
* prepare annual budgets and sales forecasts for each client to manage inventory with sales management and prevent obsolescence.
* calculate pricing proposals and negotiate contracts for clients in accordance with the division's profitability guidelines and based on business potential.
* responsible for pre-sales and post-sales follow-up processes, in coordination with the customer service department, to evaluate service and determine the best delivery option for client requests, ensuring the operational efficiency of assigned accounts (budget compliance, invoicing), addressing complaints, responding to information requests, delivering products on time, establishing and fulfilling agreements, etc.
* analyze client sales reports (results), evaluating profitability (gross profit) in terms of sales volume by product, category, and client. Additionally, identify sales difficulty levels by comparing current years sales with previous years sales, assess competitor strengths each year, and identify sales declines to implement viable strategies. Prospects for new projects with clients and follow-up on them.
* responsible for visiting clients and establishing relationships with key contacts to create the most concise client relationship map possible.
