about the role
* you will excel in:
1. technical discovery call & stakeholder engagement
1. assemble cross-functional teams and align them on preliminary information;
2. lead technical discovery calls, showcasing outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust quickly;
3. demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the sdlc from ideation to market release, guiding discussions and identifying project feasibility;
4. use consultative questioning techniques to uncover client pain points and business objectives, extracting and analyzing high-level requirements such as project timeline, budget constraints, technical skill requirements, and risk assessments;
5. showcase strong presentation and storytelling skills, ensuring clarity and persuasion in all client-facing interactions.
2. proposal development & deliverable creation
1. develop dynamic, visually compelling presentation decks and engagement proposals that clearly articulate service offerings, project scope, value propositions, and strategic recommendations;
2. customize deliverables to reflect client-specific challenges and opportunities uncovered during discovery meetings;
3. integrate technical insights with business strategy, ensuring that proposals account for both immediate deliverables and long-term client growth.
3. team buildout and project kickoff
1. act as the primary point of coordination among sales, recruiting, and engineering teams, ensuring smooth hand-offs from initial engagement through team buildout to project kick-off;
2. serve as a trusted advisor during pre-sales engagements by translating complex technical aspects into digestible, business-focused narratives;
3. maintain a sales/consulting mindset throughout the technical discovery process, ensuring proposals align with targeted business outcomes.
key requirements:
* exceptional communication & soft skills: outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly;
* ux & presentation design acumen: solid grasp of user experience (ux) principles and design thinking;
* technical savvy & sdlc knowledge: a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle—from conceptualization through to market release—and familiarity with agile methodologies;
* analytical & strategic thinking: strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and recommend actionable strategies;
* team collaboration & cross-functional coordination: demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple departments;
* consultative sales experience: prior experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role.
