As a tech support specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering technical assistance to our partners through phone. Your primary focus will be resolving technical inquiries efficiently and effectively, all while showcasing a proactive, innovative, and multitasking approach.
*required*:
high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.
Proven technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Passion for technology, particularly in areas likes iot, smart home, surveillance, networking, and home theater systems.
*preferred*:
advanced degree in a technical field.
Hands-on experience installing or troubleshooting.
Surveillance/security systems
power management systems (ups, surge supression, etc.)
Audio-video equipment, network hardware, or similar technical products.
*knowledge of*:
networking concepts, including advanced router configurations, managed switches, firewalls, vlans, etc.
Home automation, iot, media distriution (hdbase t, video over ip), high-end audio, hvac, low-voltage or electrical wiring, and smart lighting systems.
Familiarity with case documentation in salesforce.
Previous experience in customer service or technical support within a callcenter environment.
