Responsibilities
* supervise and coordinate daily activities of production personnel in the electric motor assembly line.
* ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
* monitor assembly processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
* enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* train, coach, and evaluate team members to improve performance and skill levels.
* communicate production goals, updates, and issues clearly in both english and spanish.
* collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production challenges.
* maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on kpis such as output, scrap, and downtime.
* ensure compliance with company policies, iso standards, and regulatory requirements.
* support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and 5s.
qualifications
* cbachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
* 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in electric motor assembly or similar industries.
* proven leadership experience supervising production teams.
* strong knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment used in electric motor manufacturing.
* bilingual proficiency in english and spanish (spoken and written).
* familiarity with lean manufacturing, six sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
* strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
