we are seeking a skilled boarding agent to provide logistics services to principals, ensuring safe and smooth vessel turnaround. This role involves managing requirements and undertaking vessel boarding.
* key responsibilities:
* communicate with ship captains and principals on dock availability, local port conditions, and applicable regulations
* coordinate terminal rules, government regulations, and varying interpretations
* provide pre-arrival lists for ships and communicate with terminals
* monitor services provided and coordinate crew accommodations, travel, and transportation
* support customers in obtaining services while in port
* assist principals with monitoring and servicing business operations
* responsible for innovating methods to reduce operating costs and find efficiencies
