this role will focus on reviewing rights, contracts, and supporting deal execution in a fast-moving, international environment.
ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who wants to grow in music law, ip, and deal structuring.responsibilities:review and analyze contracts related to music rights (publishing, masters, licensing agreements).
support legal due diligence processes for catalog transactions.assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documents (ndas, lois, apa support, etc.).
evaluate chain of title and identify legal risks in music catalogs.coordinate with external counsel, clients, and internal teams during transactions.support negotiations by identifying key legal considerations.help ensure compliance with ip and entertainment laws.organize and manage legal documentation throughout deal processesrequirements:law degree + qualified to practice (or in process, depending on location).2–3 years of experience in entertainment law, corporate law, or m&a.strong understanding of contracts and legal documentation.interest or experience in the music or entertainment industry.high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.nice to have:experience with music rights (publishing, masters, royalties).
