about the role
collaborate with regional supply chain teams to drive material resolution for critical materials for the factories, including sourcing and supply projects. Escalate issues as appropriate to senior management to ensure clear to build and customer on time delivery.
key responsibilities:
as a manager, you’ll be responsible for:
* coordinating the collection and analysis of data from product lines and suppliers, consolidating that data, and providing summary reports for stakeholders.
* interpreting project plans and tracking progress, maintaining and controlling assigned production lines.
* expediting materials, verifying receipts, and preparing storage for urgent priority material requirements for assigned production lines.
* supporting risk analysis and maintaining an action tracker, as well as monitoring and resolving inventory exception notices with material planners daily.
* following up on past due items, updating estimated delivery dates, and preparing daily reports of material delays and backordered items. Providing stakeholders with up-to-date project status and forecasts.
* managing communications and acting as a single point of contact for production line escalations and problem-solving.
requirements
we are looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
* bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, or a related field.
* more than 5 years of experience in materials or supply chain areas.
* fluency in english.
* knowledge of sap.
* experience in project management.
* effective communication skills.
* ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* ability to work in a team and under pressure.
