The erp global business finance analyst is responsible for leading our global qad implementations. The role involves analyzing application requirements, developing detailed project specifications, and overseeing the development, testing, training, and implementation of major business initiatives. The analyst will also collaborate with business and it operations to continually optimize current processes and practices.
qualifications / experience:
* college diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems.
* proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
* extensive experience (7+ years) with erp applications such as qad, sap, or oracle, with a preference for qad.
* at least 2 years of management or project management experience.
* knowledge of barcode scanning systems and database query tools, currently eagle or similar.
* familiarity with edi, preferably european bank drivers.
* strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
* ability to research systems issues and products as needed.
* effective communication skills in both technical and user-friendly language.
* self-motivated and highly organized.
* ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in high-pressure environments.
* customer service orientation.
* experience in team-oriented, collaborative settings.
* proven ability to conduct training sessions for multiple learners.
* understanding of manufacturing business environments.
responsibilities:
* manage global finance relationships during new site implementations and process improvements, influencing key decisions.
* lead issue resolution efforts, often involving qad and service providers.
* drive governance and enhancements, ensuring technical feasibility and global relevance.
* translate functional specifications into technical ones, obtain quotes, oversee development, test programs, and create/update work aids until deployment.
* support and approve data change requests in uat and production environments.
* participate in kaizen roadmap development with site op-ex managers to identify process improvements.
* engage in kaizen events, ensuring sops and work aids are followed and updated.
* travel to other sites to observe best practices, evaluate their impact, and coordinate implementation with functional leads.
* contribute to iso/sox audits related to qad processes, addressing non-conformances.
* assist in budget planning, including licensing, support hours, and maintenance.
* provide training on qad enhancements to functional leads.
* support new qad implementations at various sites.
* create current and future state process maps using sop standards.
* identify gaps, and develop functional and technical specifications.
* write test scripts for conference room pilots and assist in execution.
* develop and update work aids to support processes.
* validate data transfer from previous systems.
* develop training materials and conduct training sessions for functional leads.
