objective
short term – an integral member of the sales & marketing team to drive achievement of company targets.
long‐term – develop robust strategic and operational marketing plans to support the company.
lead the development and implementation of an effective china business development plan and marketing strategy in close coordination with global product and strategic marketing units.
collaborate with sales leaders to develop and implement business‐process improvement, operational plans, and clear marketing strategies for products across market segments and applications.
effectively manage a marketing team of application specialists, managers, and the marcom manager to formulate and execute relevant sales‐support activities such as product demonstrations, presentations, trade shows, and product trainings on a daily basis.
responsibilities
- define market, sales, and pricing strategies by customer segment, product, and application in collaboration with global business units and local sales leaders.
- act as a key communication channel with global product & business teams on local market trends and needs.
- co‐create field sales action plans for various market segments.
- take an active role in annual budget planning and mid‐range strategic planning.
- oversee the creation and production of marketing communications materials and tools (brochures, advertisements, website, trade events, etc.).
- daily manage the applications team to deliver effective sales support activities.
- partner with sales leaders on kol program development and kol retention.
- report regularly on sales trends, price analysis, and recommend improvement actions.
- provide market competition updates to the company.
- set up "new product launch" processes and develop effective launch plans.
- own business performance of key products in the market with deep knowledge of life‐science research and diagnostic market segments.
- formulate and execute marketing strategies for key products.
- control and efficiently use company resources to support sales and operational targets.
- coach and supervise the team and develop suitable talent programs.
your background

- master's in life science subjects with 7‐10 years of relevant experience.
- excellent leadership and communication skills.
- fluency in both verbal and written english.
