As a sr.demand planner here at honeywell, you will be accountable for managing demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment for honeywell aerospace technologies (at).you will play a key role in driving demand and asset planning within our vibrant manufacturing environment.your primary responsibility is to ensure the development of a high-quality demand forecast critical for supply planning and financial forecasting.your role is instrumental in meeting customer requirements and aligning with operational business objectives.the position reports to the demand planning org supporting all at sbus.the demand planning team is responsible for collecting data, collect forecast information from business leads and preparing forecast in support of the sales and operation planning (s&op) process.role is accountable for reviewing all demand streams and aggregating into a single set of requirements, to review and provide input into an unconstrained demand forecast to the integrated supply chain.key responsibilities- improve forecast accuracy by implementing and leading processes to collect data, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts, utilizing appropriate planning tool in support of the sales, inventory and operations planning (siop) process.- identify and analyze site run rates and shipments, month v month, year v year, ytd trends, and aggregate into a single set of outputs.- conduct formal forecast reviews with global sales and business to analyze, measure, and improve forecast accuracy.- document assumptions used and validate throughout siop process.- assure integration with siop process to compare the unconstrained demand forecast with aggregate supply constraints and understand the impact to customer and financial commitments (aop).- ensure collaboration between the business and demand management to understand internal and external factors that may impact the forecast.- participate in cdp reviews in support of the siop management operation system (mos) which includes aggregating the unconstrained demand forecast, comparing against aop, and determining course of action to manage the gaps.- ability to drive siop vision and collaboration into the site/ cbt extended team- strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complex environment and drive execution via indirect leadership.- strong collaboration within sbus and functions demand mgmt., isc, finance and cbt's to ensure common tools & processes are implemented- develop collaborative processes to collect data, analyze trends, and create long term product line/site forecasts.you must have- 3+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience.- strong process orientation and experience in planning.- excellent english communication skills, written and spoken.- strong system capabilities such as excel, word and powerpoint.we value- bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain/logistics/engineering.- sap, rapid response and servigistics knowledge is highly desirable.- excellent teaming integration and collaboration skills.- ability to drive siop vision and collaboration into the site/cbt extended team.- strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complex environment and drive execution via indirect leadership.- strong collaboration within sbus and functions, demand mgmt., isc, finance and cbt's to ensure common tools & processes are implemented.- develop collaborative processes to collect data, analyze trends, and create long term product line/site forecasts.about honeywellhoneywell international inc.
