as a *security officer - logistics screener* in *santa fe, nm*, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics & distribution, and more.
as a screener with allied universal, you will play a key role at a logistics and distribution location by monitoring designated areas, conducting access control, and performing security-related screening duties.

*what you'll do*:
- use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
*responsibilities*:
- conduct screening of individuals, vehicles, and/or materials entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access.
- follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by allied universal and the client to maintain security-related standards.
- provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting personnel and visitors in a professional manner.
- respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations as required.
- maintain detailed documentation of screening activities, observations, and incidents as instructed.
- collaborate with other allied universal personnel and site staff to promote security-related awareness throughout the location.
- participate in emergency response activities according to established protocols when appropriate.

- interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
*minimum requirements*:
- at least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- experience with x ray screening is preferred.
- cpr and/or first aid certification is preferred.
- a security professional guard card or license is preferred.
- be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- a valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
