what do you get to do in this position ensure needs/resources balance (mrp, etc.)
for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products by managing customer needs (customer orders + ccmps) and the replenishment backlog. Ensure product availability by resolving backorders and shortages. Manage the customer needs coming from the cccs through the customer claim management process. Coordinate queue management and/or production scheduling. Manage the replenishment backlog, including creation and rescheduling of manufacturing and purchase orders. Manage the backorder portfolio (bol), shortages, and take actions to ensure product availability. Address daily mrp messages (e.g., sap md07) and escalate recurring issues. Support stock discrepancy analysis and adjustments. Run distribution requirement planning process within your scope. Define and update stock parameters to meet service level objectives while optimizing inventory. Manage purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies, and perform necessary adjustments. Handle pr to po conversion via erp batch jobs, ensuring automation of the process. Work on material levels aligned with forecasts. Address mrp exceptions (e.g., sap md06) and collaborate with suppliers to expedite deliveries. Manage customer request workflows and record purchase order acknowledgments and shipping notifications in erp. Ensure stock availability by analyzing and taking appropriate actions to control various inventory metrics. Define transportation modes using air/sea tools and manage workflow changes. Coordinate with suppliers, production planners, and logistics teams to prioritize production and shipments. Participate actively in sim cycles and other planning activities. Required skills english proficiency mathematical optimization skills experience with management systems materials management knowledge qualifications bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, logistics, business, or operations engineering.
