we are looking for a backend developer to lead the modernization of legacy systems, migrating applications from .net framework 4.0 to .net 8. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about microservices architecture, cloud, and high-performance systems, especially within banking or financial environments.
what you'll do:
migrate and refactor legacy applications to modern .net 8 architectures
design and implement microservices-based solutions
optimize sql server performance (queries, schemas, stored procedures)
implement enterprise-grade security (oauth2, openid connect, encryption)
build and maintain ci/cd pipelines in devops environments
ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity across systems
️ what we're looking for:
5–6+ years of backend development experience
strong expertise in .net (framework → .net core / .net 8 migrations)
advanced sql server skills (tuning, relational design, stored procedures)
hands-on experience with microservices, docker, api gateways, async systems
experience with azure devops, jenkins, or github actions
strong understanding of system design and performance optimization
advanced english and spanish (mandatory)
nice to have:
experience in banking or financial services systems
exposure to cloud platforms (azure preferred)
familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture
