- learn and run our network models for ercot and spp.
- run contingency and scenario analyses with guidance from the team.
- help validate model inputs and clean data.
As you grow into the role:
- maintain and evolve the network models used for bravos’ congestion trading.
- design and run contingency analyses and scenario tests to evaluate the impact of network changes, planned outages, and new transmission facilities.
- work closely with transmission analysts and software developers to improve data pipelines and build automated solutions for large-scale simulations.
- compare model results to actual market results, track the causes of errors, and propose improvements.
- identify and quantify risks related to changing grid topologies, load patterns, and renewable integration.
- contribute to algorithm development, directly shaping our trading strategies.
