Overview
checksum is seeking a sales-driven regional sales manager based in mexico to lead capital equipment sales into the electronics manufacturing sector. This is a business development and account management role that owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through proposals, negotiation, and close.
you are a sales professional who is comfortable in an smt/pcba environment and can quickly grasp technical concepts and process-improvement opportunities across the manufacturing flow (printing, spi, placement, reflow, aoi, ict, functional test, flying probe, etc.). A test background is not required, but experience with ict, functional test, flying probe, or related capital equipment (spi, aoi, x-ray, handlers, in-system programming equipment, etc.) is a strong plus.
the role centers on sales excellence, smt process understanding, and value-based selling that ties checksum’s solutions to measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and cost. You will be supported by application engineers and other technical resources for deeper technical discussions about customer-specific test applications.
you will work closely with customers to understand their production challenges and capacity needs, then position checksum’s parallel test solutions to increase throughput, reduce costs, and improve overall line performance. You will also collaborate with the global sales team to build relationships at multiple levels—from c-level and plant management to engineering and production teams.
