This role is critical to maintaining operational continuity, ensuring compliance and trade regulations, and optimizing procurement costs across the organization.you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and quality to ensure that import/export processes and purchasing activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with applicable regulations. Coordinate import and export operations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.identify and mitigate risks related to import/export operations in collaboration with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.manage indirect procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing of services, consumables, maintenance, marketing, and supplies.negotiate with national and international suppliers to optimize cost, quality, and delivery conditions.collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure proper cost allocation, expense tracking, and purchasing documentation.maintain organized records to support internal and external audits related to trade compliance and procurement processes.identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in procurement and foreign trade operations.bachelor's degree in international trade, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.at least 2 years of experience in foreign trade, import/export operations, indirect procurement, or supply chain roles.strong knowledge of immex, import/export processes, incoterms, and noms.experience working with suppliers and managing procurement processes.familiarity with erp systems and microsoft office tools.spanish fluency required.english b2 level required.
