The director of sales – leisure is responsible for developing and executing the global leisure sales strategy, fully aligned with the hotel's revenue objectives, with a strong focus on driving high-value business within the luxury segment.
* proven experience in leisure sales within the luxury hospitality segment (5-star, ultra-luxury, or premium lifestyle brands).
* established network within luxury consortia such as virtuoso, american express fhr, signature, and traveller made.
* strong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation and relationship management skills.
* deep understanding of luxury distribution channels and high-end traveler expectations.
* willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
* fluency in english required; additional languages are a strong advantage.

key responsibilities
* develop and implement a comprehensive leisure sales strategy targeting the luxury segment, driving revenue growth, market share, and adr optimization.
* build, manage, and expand strategic relationships with leading luxury consortia, including virtuoso, american express fine hotels & resorts (fhr), signature travel network, traveller made, and serandipians, as well as top-tier tour operators and high-end travel agencies.
* identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across key international markets, strengthening the hotel's global footprint within the luxury leisure segment.
* negotiate preferred partnerships, consortia agreements, and tactical campaigns to maximize production, profitability, and brand visibility.
* work cross-functionally with revenue management, marketing, and distribution teams to align pricing strategies, targeted promotions, and luxury-focused campaigns.
* represent the hotel at premier international luxury travel events (e.g., iltm, virtuoso travel week), trade shows, sales missions, and exclusive industry engagements.
* monitor market trends, luxury travel behaviors, and competitor activity to ensure a strong and differentiated market position.
* drive engagement and loyalty with key travel advisors, ensuring exceptional service delivery and consistent recognition of vip and high-net-worth clientele.
