this role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of fixed assets, from capital project requests to destruction and retirement. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

main responsibilities
* monitor fixed asset processes and related financial activities across multiple sites.
* ensure compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
* serve as liaison between sites/plants in the us, mexico, and honduras.
* manage tasks for correct recording of aptiv's fixed assets, wear/depreciation, accounting reconciliations, and creation of project and work orders.
* lead inventories, follow up on findings and records, and support internal and external audits with necessary documentation and explanations of processes, reconciliations, account variations, additions, deletions, transfers, and sales of assets.
* act as primary contact for information required to calculate insurance premiums for asset protection at sites in mexico.
