Job description
the category commercial manager is a lead contributor to delivering the in-year commercial performance within kraft heinz mexico business unit. This person will be the senior sales business partner, representing the category team in all commercial-related topics.
this individual will analyze, develop, implement and track commercial initiatives to unlock profitable value creation opportunities that fulfill the triple win approach [company, customer, and shopper needs].
this role will report into the category director, mexico, and will have exposure to a wide variety of departments, all the while providing a strong understanding of the commercial levers within a business.
activities
* strategy
o i. Lead national sales strategy to accelerate revenue, market share, and profitable growth across all channels in mexico
o ii. Monitor market and competitor trends to adapt strategies with speed and precision and delivery upon company targets
o iii. Extract customer, channel and shopper behaviour insights to unlock value accretive action plans
* execution
o i. Own the category sales p&l, ensuring sustainable, profitable growth aligned with kraft heinz' long-term ambitions
o ii. Drive commercial excellence through accurate forecasting and reporting; focus on sell-in & sell-out reconciliation
o iii. Prepare inputs & analyse category commercial plan & annual operating plan across pack, customer, and channel
* partnership
o i. Strengthen external relationships with major customers, and own annual negotiations and joint business plans
o ii. Build trusted internal partnerships with cross-functional leaders to ensure executional delivery of category commercial plan
o ii. Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
knowledge & experience
* education: bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, economics, business, or equivalent is preferred
* technical proficiency: advanced skillset in excel and powerpoint
* language: strong fluency in english
