The Opportunity
Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise to a team of Project Controlling specialists and analysts. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant project financial controlling services across the full project lifecycle, while driving standardization, continuous improvement, and value-added financial insights within the service model. Being the key point of contact between Business and Finance.

1. Strong understanding of end-to-end project controlling processes, including:
2. Project budgeting, forecasting, and cost-to-complete
3. EAC / ETC calculations and variance analysis
4. Revenue recognition and margin analysis
5. Change orders, claims, and risk provisioning
6. Solid knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements
7. Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for project and business management
8. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
9. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a dynamic environment
10. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across finance, project management, and operations
11. Ability to drive change, standardization, and continuous improvement while maintaining service stability
12. Structured, detail-oriented, and outcome-driven mindset
13. Capable of handling peak workloads and meeting strict deadlines with consistent quality
Your Background
14. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
15. Strong experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP PS/CO, S/4HANA)
16. Experience with project management and reporting tools, planning systems, and BI solutions
17. Strong understanding of data flows across project, finance, and controlling systems
18. Project controlling certification is an added advantage.
19. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Finance or Controlling, with at least 2–3 years in Project Controlling
20. Proven people leadership experience in a shared service, CCC, or matrix organization
21. Experience supporting complex, multi-entity, or multi-country projects
22. Exposure to EPC, manufacturing, energy, construction, or industrial project environments is preferred
