role
we are seeking an experienced senior backend engineer with strong expertise in golang to design, build, and scale high‑performance backend and mid‑tier services.
key responsibilities
* design, develop, and maintain backend and mid‑tier services using golang as the primary language.
* build scalable, secure, and high‑throughput restful and event‑driven apis for enterprise platforms.
* contribute to backend services written in java and python, supporting interoperability across systems.
* develop microservices and middleware components that enable seamless integration across internal and external systems.
* collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and devops teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
* ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, performance tuning, and observability.
* participate in system design discussions, contributing to architecture, scalability, and resilience decisions.
* support cloud deployments, ci/cd pipelines, and production operations with a strong ownership mindset.
required skills & experience
* 6–10+ years of backend or platform engineering experience in enterprise or product‑driven environments.
* strong hands‑on expertise in golang, with real‑world experience building production‑grade services.
* solid experience with java and/or python for backend or mid‑tier development.
* strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and api design.
* experience working with relational and nosql databases (postgresql, mysql, mongodb).
* hands‑on exposure to cloud platforms (aws, azure, or gcp).
* familiarity with containers and orchestration (docker, kubernetes).
* experience with ci/cd tools and devops practices.
* strong problem‑solving skills, communication, and ability to work across teams and geographies.
