Payroll analyst – guadalajara – diageo

payroll analyst supports diageo's payroll operations team within the employee experience tower, ensuring timely, accurate payroll for diageo employees across europe & africa. The role engages with 3rd‑party service providers, compliance teams, and internal stakeholders.

* maintain payroll cycle consistency, producing accurate employee payments.
* provide payroll provider with data changes in agreed format and date.
* validate data quality and perform accurate validations.
* resolve employee queries within established timelines.
* maintain technical knowledge of statutory payments, deductions, and payroll controls.
* complete tasks in compliance with data privacy and compliance principles.
* maintain checklists, calendars, variance reporting, kpis and journals.


qualifications & experience

* 5‑7 years proven payroll processing experience for a region.
* desirable shared‑services experience.
* bachelor’s degree.
* intermediate‑advanced english.
* excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
* advanced proficiency in microsoft office, including dynamic tables.

manage and process monthly payroll for multiple countries with varying complexity in a local/shared services model.

* support payroll processes for brazil, mexico, colombia, costa rica, chile, argentina, and other latam countries.
* collaborate with finance, hr, external payroll partner, and banking partners.
* secure payroll data inputs, validate data, and ensure timely payment.
* maintain payroll records, reconcile payroll balance sheet, and handle statutory submissions.

* escalate issues and manage payroll partner relationships.


qualifications

* 4‑5 years multinational payroll experience.
* experience with large payroll portfolios in an ssc environment.
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* proficiency in ms office, adp, and t&a.
* knowledge of workday latam payroll (advantage).
* advanced english; portuguese advantageous.
