Business analyst – salesforce
who you are the salesforce business analyst supports the delivery of salesforce solutions by partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
this role serves as a key liaison between business users and implementation teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood and translated into effective salesforce solutions.
the business analyst will operate within an ai-assisted development environment leveraging copado devops and copado ai agents, helping ensure that ai-generated planning, solution recommendations, and development outputs align with business requirements and platform best practices.
what you'll do
requirements & business analysis facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to understand current business processes and identify improvement opportunities. Gather, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
create and maintain artifacts such as process flows, requirement documentation, and solution design inputs.
salesforce solution support assist in evaluating and designing solutions using salesforce platform capabilities including sales cloud, service cloud, experience cloud, and related technologies.
work with architects and developers to ensure requirements are translated into scalable, platform-aligned solutions.
help determine when requirements can be addressed through standard configuration, automation, or integrations, while adhering to salesforce best practices.
ai-assisted development collaboration work alongside development teams utilizing copado ai agents to assist with solution planning, code generation, and design recommendations.
validate and refine ai-generated development plans and solution designs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
provide oversight and business context to ensure ai outputs accurately reflect desired functionality and business processes.
devops & agile delivery support product owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and story readiness.
collaborate with development teams operating within copado devops pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
ensure requirements and user stories support efficient ai-assisted development and automated deployment processes.
testing & validation assist with test planning and support testing activities.
coordinate user acceptance testing (uat) with business stakeholders.
validate delivered functionality against documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
adoption & change support assist with change management activities including documentation, training materials, and end-user support.
help ensure successful adoption of salesforce capabilities across business teams.
what you'll need
qualifications experience working as a business analyst supporting salesforce implementations or enhancements strong understanding of salesforce platform capabilities and crm business processes experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate business needs into technical requirements
familiarity with agile delivery methodologies
preferred qualifications
experience with salesforce sales cloud, service cloud, or experience cloud experience working within copado devops or similar salesforce devops environments
experience working with ai-assisted development tools such as copado ai agents
salesforce certification, such as salesforce business analyst or administrator
