Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Supervisor to lead and maintain the IT infrastructure at our Mexico Plant 1 facility. This role is responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations supporting manufacturing, ERP systems, and business functions. The IT Supervisor will oversee infrastructure performance, cybersecurity controls, system upgrades, and technical support activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and storage systems to support plant operations.
* Implement security measures to protect company information systems against internal and external threats.
* Monitor IT system performance and optimize infrastructure to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
* Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
* Prepare IT performance and activity reports for management review.
* Implement system upgrades and improvements to ensure infrastructure remains aligned with current technologies and best practices.
* Ensure IT infrastructure complies with legal requirements and internal company policies.
* Provide technical support for ERP systems and production-related systems.
* Manage and support Office 365, Windows operating systems, Windows Server environments, and Active Directory.
* Support networking environments including IPv4, TCP/IP, VLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and VPN configurations.
* Support CCTV systems, Zebra printers, MySQL databases, and manufacturing-related IT systems.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support roles.
* Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
* Experience managing enterprise network environments and Windows server infrastructure.
Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge of networking protocols including IPv4, TCP/IP, VLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and VPN.
* Experience with Office 365 administration and Active Directory management.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and production systems support.
* Basic knowledge of MySQL databases.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Ability to document technical processes clearly and accurately.
* Advanced English proficiency required.
Mobility
* Ability to work on-site at Plant 1 in Cienega de Flores and provide hands-on IT support as required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in manufacturing plant startup environments.
* Experience leading or supervising small IT teams.
* Strong communication skills and cross-functional coordination ability.
