*what you will do*
the data team lead ensures that data governance controls are implemented and monitored and works with the managing data steward to maintain the required data quality.
*duties and responsibilities*:
- implement data quality controls, policies, and procedures
- triage and remediate data quality issues
- monitor and control quality of data and implement corrective actions with the team
- monitor process effectiveness and efficiency kpis and implement corrective actions with the team
- collaborate with solutions architect on data needs, issues, and tool modifications / improvements
- understand data-related impacts on data coe resources; plan, optimize and forecast resource needs
- support data strategy, priorities, content, and projects with data governance organization and it stakeholders
*skills required*:
- 5+ years experience in master data managment
- demonstrated capabilities to lead, develop, and grow teams
- ability to analyze group performance to service level agreements and take corrective action as needed
- deep understanding of the master data add, change, and deactivate processes and how to manage their effectiveness
- working knowledge of erp data screens and technology solutions used to manage the process
- high-level understanding of overall business processes
- technical capability to resolve/fix data quality issues

*education*
- preferred bachelor's degree
- preferred experience in multiple functions: accounts payable/acct receivable/ general accounting/manufacturing
- preferred experience in leading a team
