Role objective & responsibilities we are looking for a product certification expert to handle all worldwide certifications (ul/csa/vde/tuv/iec cb, etc.) for various product families in the te connected living solutions business unit. Business unit poc for product approvals & certification activities globally. Project manager, diligent, methodical, organized in carrying out agency approval activities. Excellent knowledge and understanding of agency technical reports, test reports, specifications and procedures. Spearhead continuous improvement activities, 5s, kaizen events for lean processes and cost saving activities. Subject matter expert and guide internal teams on interpretation of technical/standard requirements per product per regulatory/agency requirements. Coordinate with testing/certification agencies, track projects and lead them to logical closure for all regulatory agency approvals for existing, modified, and new product. Multitask handling multiple projects and driving project completion with multiple stakeholders. Interact with global stakeholders (pm/sales etc.), directly with customers, communicate technical details efficiently. Cost down/avoidance mindset and execute product certification projects to achieve cost avoidance target.
