job summary
we are looking for a program manager. This position will work closely with a cross-functional team and is responsible for leading with a relentless attitude, working with rigor and pace to execute and drive the project execution. Responsibilities include industrialization, manpower hiring & training, program ramp-up, and fulfilling customer build event deliverables and communication status internally and externally.
your role
* work closely with cross-functional teams to drive flawless program launch and execution.
* assess project status and plant readiness for program launch based on project plan, risk assessment, and project appropriation requests (ar), including:
o project financials
o design & validation deliverables
o pc: procurement, logistics, warehouse readiness
o me: t&e industrialization, methods, validation, ramp-up follow-up
o aqp: poke yokes and line release compliance
o hr: hiring plans for hourly and salary staff
* control and monitor the project through gate reviews and assessment of readiness for customer milestones.
* coordinate customer visits to plants, verifying capacity and other requirements.
* ensure proper escalation of off-plan conditions and risks with timely resolution.
* coordinate handoffs between different project phases and plants.
* maintain and retain program records as required by job and company policy.
your background
* at least 3 years of program/launch management experience.
* high proficiency in english (90% or higher).
* bachelor's degree.
* over 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
* experience managing challenging situations during execution and resolving issues with teams.
* knowledge in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
* ability to develop and maintain project timelines for internal and customer reporting.
* strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to make timely decisions and solve problems independently.
* ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
