What will you do?
responsible for using lean six sigma principles to successfully improve manufacturing processes and increase the lean culture throughout the manufacturing plant. Develop and implement projects focused on value stream to meet customer demand while achieving cost savings. Assess current state performance, identify gaps, visualize future state, and share best-in-class ideas and systems while supporting the johnson controls manufacturing system (jcms).
how will you do it?
* facilitate cross-functional teams to drive best-in-class performance in quality, material flow, and cost.
* conduct value stream analysis and future state value stream mapping.
* collaborate with continuous improvement manager to assess operations and develop implementation plans.
* coach team members on lean principles and conduct training sessions.
* identify and implement model lean lines and conduct 5s activities.
* prepare detailed plans and track project performance to ensure timely achievement of quality and savings goals.
* assist with the development and implementation of continuous improvement methodologies and tools, such as kaizen and root cause analysis.
what are we looking for?
* bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
* 6 years minimum experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
* strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
* proficient in ms office applications and experience with cad software.
* excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* proven ability to lead projects and drive cultural changes within an organization.
