responsibilities
* maintenance area responsibilities:
* design and/or provide guidance for preventive maintenance of equipment.
* conduct equipment studies to gather necessary information for their release.
* define necessary spare parts and consumables for production equipment.
* measure department efficiency using pareto analysis to quickly identify top issues.
* liaise with suppliers to resolve equipment problems.
* create operation manuals for both new and existing production equipment.
* provide support to production during equipment stoppages.
* present weekly reports on downtime and top issues to the department.
* measure and develop actions to control department metrics in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including mttr, mtbf, mtta, oee, tiempo de ciclo, gauge r&r.
* conduct training sessions for department staff and guide personnel towards best practices.
* form workgroups to resolve issues quickly and monitor training progress for cross-training.
* manage staff vacations and role coverage as needed.
* automation area responsibilities:
* receive production equipment and generate technical manuals for operators, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings, bom, and spare parts.
* conduct training sessions on new equipment, review and modify programming, propose technological improvements, and collaborate across departments for project success.
* lead automation projects, work with suppliers, manage equipment reception and installation, audit suppliers, troubleshoot issues, and lead error-proofing initiatives.
qualifications
* degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, electronics, maintenance, process engineering, electromechanics, mechatronics, or related field.
* over four years of experience in the field.
* proficiency in english (80%).
* experience with labview, mechanical knowledge, measurement instruments, electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and automated equipment.
* excellent customer service, ownership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
