seeking a senior finance analyst to leverage p&l expertise and provide strategic insights to drive impactful business decisions. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, focusing on financial analysis, strategic planning, and team development.
key functional responsibilities:
utilize p&l understanding to guide strategic decision-making processes.
deliver comprehensive analysis of business results, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
oversee financial reporting and analysis cycles, including regular forecasting and performance reviews.
lead the development of the strategic plan and annual operating plan (aop), including data analysis and presentation preparation.
advise senior leaders in financial forecasting and analysis, ensuring informed decision-making.
coordinate period-close activities in partnership with the controller’s group, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly zone teams, to align p&l expectations.
drive initiatives to enhance regional and customer performance.
communicate business results and insights effectively through compelling powerpoint presentations.
participate in ad-hoc projects with cross-functional teams, fostering teamwork and innovation.
promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
people responsibilities:
provide coaching and onboarding support to new team members, ensuring smooth integration and understanding of processes.
potentially manage a team of 1-3 finance professionals, focusing on development through training, mentorship, and feedback.
requirements:
* experience managing a p&l
* 3+ years of experience in finance and planning
* experience in financial analysis, data integrity maintenance and systems such as sap, business objects, essbase
* tableau and/or power bi knowledge
* strong excel skills
* advanced english
